Mboa tape No. 3, be sure to listen!
The compilation Mboa Tape, which presents Cameroonian titles in the register “urban music”, has been in its 3rd volume since August 10, 2015.
What about the 2015 selection? 16 unreleased tracks urban music (Rap, RnB, Inspiration Makossa and Slow) and promised to include artists like everyone else, but if we had to choose 5, here is my ranking in order of preference: “Seriously” Coolkid by “Angel” Edel & Koulla Moulah “Sponsor” Minks ft Salatiel “3G” Teddy Doherty ft Inna Money “i need wata” Loic Nkono performance Peter Jericho.
Social issues occupy a large place in several pieces. Would this prove that the new generation is becoming more and more conscious? It should also be noted that the languages used are Cameroonian slang, French, English, pidgin, and sometimes local dialects.
Content: For the record “Mboa” means “house” or “home” in short, the place where one belongs in Duala dialect.
This choice is an indication of the efforts of the cultural agency Mboa Urban Music to promote the country’s cultural heritage. The structure itself as “a platform that Cameroonians and other Cameroonian music lovers will enable, aims to discover, hear, share, download and exchange the news of the new Cameroonian urban scene, and also aims to be outstanding Artists by offering them an alternative broadcast channel to traditional media. ”
