Fresh Nkui stems

Nkui stems is a traditional dish from the West Cameroon region which is prepared following the birth of a baby and which is served to his mother. Thanks to its high fiber content, it is a very good ally for a healthy diet.

It’s a gooey sauce that comes from the bark of the fiber plant called Triumfetta pentandra. It is eaten with cornmeal and is also used to feed young children.

Preservation method: We advise you to keep it in the freezer after reception.
Other uses: Nkui can also be used as a shampoo, it helps to soften the hair.
