Learn the Nufi language in videos over 11 hours of video content.
This is the very first initiative of its kind for the fèefě’èè language. We ask you to support the project by officially obtaining this key to ensure its sustainability.
At the end of viewing this pen drive, we promise that you and your children will be able to speak, read and write this language in less time than you imagine.
The key has a capacity of 4 GB, including 2 GB for the data and 2 GB for your personal storage.
The data is divided into three main parts: 1) The Pʉ̄nkhʉ̄ɑ̄ file: child, 2) The Njwátlɑ̄ file: adults, and 3) The Yɔ̌hnshì file: music.
I. The Pʉ̄nkhʉ̄ɑ̄ file: Child (23 files, ~ 4 hours of time)
This file contains 13 playful videos for learning the Fè’éfě’è language, starting with greetings, personal pronouns, expressions of survival, expressions of courtesy, conversations of everyday life and an audiovisual lexicon of expressions selected, the most commonly used expressions to order a to start real conversation.
II. The Njwátlɑ̄ file: Adults (5 files, ~ 6 hours of time)
This folder contains five sub-folders
1) Audiovisual courses
2) stories of poems and comedies
3) The culture file.
4) documents and scripts
5) Resulam in the picture
1. The Audiovisual Course Folder ( 14 files, 4 hours time ) contains 14 files from the national anthem of Cameroon, the general alphabet of the Cameroonian languages, personal pronouns, presentations in fè’éfě’è language and greetings how to count up to 1000, grammar, logical connectors, progressive present, reading a storybook, etc. All files in the adult folder have a total duration of approximately 4 hours.
2. The poetry and comedy fairy tale book ( 7 files, 1h 20 min )
Contains two poems dedicated to mothers, mothers of mankind and the mother tongue transmission belt. A comedy about the social scourge that undermines our society, namely spending more on funerals and funerals than on disease. The story of Shwinao and Happi, which according to the title of the book “Fɑ̀ ‘zě’è, ndīē wāhà nzɑ̄, lē’ zě’è, ndīē wāhà nzhʉ́ɑ́” literally translates to “work today and eat tomorrow, laziness today and flying tomorrow”, shows that the laziness of youth has a direct impact on the state of senility.
Another still very interesting story is that of “ngà’ghʉ̀ɑ̀ ‘lɑ̀’ vīāt”, which translates as “The envious one never gets enough” and represents Nùlɑ́ghʉ̀, who apparently had a very handsome physique compared to Wāhnzhʉ́ɑ́ who had a small physical one Defect in his limbs because one of his feet was longer than the other. This small defect traumatized him and made him so jealous. He wanted to be in the place of his friend Nùlɑ́gh bis until he discovered that his friend really only had prostheses as limbs and teeth.
In this file we also have a poem text that we leave for you to discover.
3. The culture file ( 3 files, 30 minutes )
In this file we have a chronicle that shows how blacks underestimate themselves, despise their rich inheritance and give up in order to identify with others, especially the Caucasians, whom we commonly call the whites. The author shows here that we were all robbed except for our names.
By making the connection with the story of Kunta Kinte, who was beaten to death before adopting the name Toby in spite of himself, the author seeks to raise awareness among contemporary Africans who proudly bear the foreign names also known as fe ‘ will. efe’e (zéndāk, meaning the white man’s name). The author also describes the fact that a large number of words from the fairy lexicon have the suffix ndāk (white) for everything beautiful, sophisticated and intelligent.
Another video, which also explains the state of deterioration in royalties in Bamileke land, shows how the youth who used to comply with the laws established in their kingdom without asking questions are now questioning everything. A few well-chosen proverbs will allow you to understand Bamileke’s ancestral philosophy through litotic expressions that will give you advice and tips from everyday life.
4. “Documents” folder
This file contains written lessons on the most common expressions in fèefě’èè languages, the grammar of the language, conjugation, proverbs, and the script of certain tapes. This will allow you to become familiar with the alphabet of the Fèéfé language, which is nothing more than the general alphabet of the current Cameroonian languages.
5. Picture folder
This folder provides an overview of some Resulam publications: books, applications, videos, etc.
III. The Yɔ̌hnshì file: Music ( 5 files, 27 minutes )
This folder contains the videotexts of some music in fairy tale language for which we have obtained permission to publish. We hope to get permission to release it from other musicians in future versions of the key.
